These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 404 Labz website and services. By using our Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

404 Labz provides web design, web development, application development, cybersecurity, automation, and AI systems services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for any project will be defined in a separate agreement or project proposal.

2. Quotes and Proposals

Prices listed on our Site are starting points. Final pricing depends on project scope and will be confirmed in a written proposal before work begins. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. For fixed-price packages, payment terms will be specified at purchase. For custom projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. All fees are in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. Full ownership of deliverables transfers upon final payment.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Supply necessary materials and feedback in a timely manner
  • Respond to requests for approval within a reasonable timeframe
  • Pay invoices according to agreed terms

5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for your project. 404 Labz retains the right to:

  • Display the work in our portfolio (unless under NDA)
  • Reuse general code patterns, frameworks, and techniques
  • Retain ownership of any pre-existing tools or libraries used

6. Revisions and Scope

Each package includes a defined number of revisions. Work beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges, which will be communicated before proceeding.

7. Project Timelines

We provide estimated timelines in good faith. Delays caused by late client feedback, scope changes, or third-party dependencies may affect delivery dates.

8. Warranties and Limitations

Our services are provided "as is." We deliver professional-quality work but do not guarantee specific business outcomes (traffic, revenue, rankings). To the maximum extent permitted by law, 404 Labz is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Confidentiality

We treat your business information as confidential and will not disclose it without your consent, except as required to deliver services or by law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Upon termination, you pay for work completed up to the termination date, and we deliver completed work product for which payment has been made.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of Maryland.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
